Solar PV Remains One Of The Best Investments Aroundsolar-PV1

The recent reduction in UK Feed in Tariff rates has proven to be a completely justified, although it could be argued that the way the cuts were made could and should have been better managed.

The way equipment prices have dropped means that buyers can still enjoy returns exceeding 14%. When you consider that this return is tax free, more or less guaranteed and indexed linked for 25 years, you would be doing very well to find a better investment anywhere.

If the Feed in Tariff had not been cut the returns to buyers would have exceeded 22% and only served to exhaust the available money far too quickly.

Macfarlane Heating has acted to seek out the highest yielding solar equipment at the best prices and are still able to give our customers the returns they are looking for.

We have never been involved in the shady sales tactics that has blighted the Solar PV industry and will always seek to give our customers the most up to date systems at the lowest prices and we will do it honestly.

The Government will continue to review Solar PV Feed in Tariff Rates and it is our opinion that the current returns will still be seen as being too high and the rates will be cut.

With the low install charges and high Feed In Tariff Rates there has never been a better time to consider installing a PV Solar system.

Microgeneration Certification SchemeMicrogeneration Certification Scheme

The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an independent certification scheme designed to certify microgeneration products and installers in accordance with consistent standards. The scheme was launched by the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform. The primary aim of the MCS is to provide consumers with confidence and protection in this energy supply option by guaranteeing that microgeneration products and installers who carry the mark meet, and will continue to meet, robust quality standards.

The MCS mark guarantees that Macfarlane Heating follow a code of practice that meets the guidelines set by the Office of Fair Trading Consumer Code Approval Scheme.

Renewable Energy Assurance Ltd

The REAL Assurance Scheme was set up by the Renewable Energy Association. It aims to guarantee a high quality experience for consumers wishing to buy or lease small generation units for their home, for a community building or for a small business. REAL membership is a sign that the supplier has agreed to abide by the high standards set out in their consumer code. The REAL logo is a symbol of professional excellence. There is a Supervisory Panel whose role is to oversee the Scheme. It is chaired by an independent consumer representative, Dr. Gill Owen. A majority of the panel members are independent of the industry. All the panel members are dedicated to representing the greater good of the sustainable energy industry rather than any individual sector within it.

We are listed members of who have signed up to the REAL Assurance Scheme Consumer Code.
